The debut release in a series of creepy concept albums from LA based Foxlore, ‘Antisocial’ explores the minds of the most prolific serial killers of our time. Foxlore dives head first into the mouth of audio alchemy and takes you on an electro pop ride through the lens of the psychologically disturbed, not stopping until you are miles off shore, wrapped in plastic and being thrown overboard. Foxlore members Drew Mottinger and Wesley Richards are veteran musicians on the LA scene and well versed in metal, indie rock, and pop. Both beautifully crafted and yet simplistic in nature, Antisocial’s disposition undergoes several moments of stylistic morphology from track-to-track before finally disposing of the body in a dumpster behind your apartment building. Recurring lyrical themes of sadistic misery and sexual desire pervade the work in this ambitious glimpse into the inner workings of the most nefarious of the cluster B personality disorders. In the words of the late-great Ray Arnold from Jurassic Park, “Hang on to your butts!”
